Made in the USA: How Pocket Pours Gets Made

People ask me pretty often where Pocket Pours is actually made, and I get why. A lot of products claim "Made in USA" without much behind it. I wanted to walk through what that actually means for us.

Starting with a small Texas operation

Pocket Pours is run out of Carrollton, Texas. I'm the founder and the one running day-to-day operations, from product development to sales to answering customer questions. This isn't a company with a big office and a dozen departments, it's a small operation built one flavor and one order at a time.

Where the packets are actually filled

Every packet is filled and sealed at a facility here in the US that specializes in this exact kind of single-serve packaging, running the same high-precision equipment used across the food and beverage industry. That facility is SQF Level II certified, which is one of the more rigorous food safety certifications a manufacturing facility can hold. That certification belongs to the manufacturing facility, but it means every batch of Pocket Pours is filled under that same standard.

Why Made in USA matters to how we build this

Manufacturing domestically means shorter lead times, more oversight on quality, and no guessing about how or where the product was actually handled before it reaches you. It also means when something needs to change, whether that's a new flavor or a packaging fix, we can move on it in weeks, not months.

What goes into every packet

Pocket Pours is dairy-free, vegan, and plant-based across the board, with a sugar-free line for anyone cutting back on sugar. Every packet, regardless of flavor, is dosed for one 16oz cup, so the format stays consistent no matter which flavor you reach for.

I built this brand from the ground up, and I still handle a lot of it myself, from packaging decisions to answering customer emails.
